PECT Consultancy offer brand new training courses for the Autumn

The trading arm of Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT), PECT Consultancy Ltd are delivering new training. Designed to fit around your own working schedule, these new courses are being offered through local Colleges to those in the housing and energy sectors.
For those interested in the letting and management of residential property, PCL are offering the Level 2 Certificate in Property Letting and Management, designed to meet the National Occupational Standards for this sector. The Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment is the second course offered and is suitable for those wishing to pursue a career as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA). Once qualified, DEAs are accredited to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), which are compulsory for the let or sale of domestic properties. The final course falls in line with the government’s new ‘Green Deal’ in accordance with the Energy Act 2011. This qualification is essential for those hoping to access Green Deal funding and PCL are proud to be one of the few training providers offering it!
All courses have an average completion period of six months and are assessed through a combination of taught sessions and work-based portfolios, with the Level 2 Certificate in Property Letting and Management also requiring timed and work-based assessments.
These brand new courses are designed to be completed on a part-time basis, worked into your daily life. Upon completion, each qualification is awarded by the Awarding Body of the Built Environment (ABBE) for the candidate to take forward and progress in their career. For each of these courses, funding is available and depending on the candidate, they could even be free!
