Businesses in Peterborough are to receive expert advice on how to create engaging content for their websites and social media channels.
The workshop-style event, which has been organised by members of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, is designed to inspire local businesses to create exciting news stories, videos and imagery that will showcase their products and services, start conversations with potential customers and help to attract new customers.
As well as demonstrating the quickest, best quality and most cost-effective methods of developing content, the session will also offer best practice advice on how to secure buy-in from colleagues and persuade others to contribute across the organisation, including how to develop a ‘content culture’ and how to measure its effectiveness.
Guest presenter David Ward, Managing Director of Ward Communications, said: “Businesses know that if you want to market your company effectively you must have great content. But where do you find the information on which to build your content?
“Your staff can really help you out here – you need their support. This workshop therefore helps businesses understand how you to engage staff, so they are willing and able to assist you with the process of developing content, and promoting a ‘content culture’.
“We’ll also look at practical ways of how you can speed up the process for generating content and increase content quality while also keeping costs down. If you want to take a strategic look at how to improve the content strategy for your business then this workshop is for you.”
