Peterborough’s GreenCity Solutions signs new agreement with pure fibre network owner CityFibre that will deliver a major investment in the Gigabit City

GreenCity Solutions, Peterborough’s leading unified communications provider has this month completed an agreement which will see the company invest over £1.5m into Peterborough to help hundreds more local businesses connect to the Gigabit CityFibre network. This investment will ultimately support the ongoing expansion of the network, reinforcing its position as one of the best digitally connected cities in the UK.

Constructed by CityFibre two years ago, the now 120km pure fibre network has grown rapidly and connects hundreds of businesses and public sector sites throughout the city. GreenCity Solutions have been providing next generation internet services over the network since the project’s inception and this new phase of activity will help even more businesses to benefit from market-leading digital connectivity.
