Addison Lee, Europe’s largest car service, has appointed Nick Williams as Senior Customer Experience Manager to run the new Peterborough At Your Service Centre.
Nick is the site leader for the centre and he joins having previously been at Booking.com, Ten Group and TUI Group.
He will oversee the whole service centre operation which now has over 130 personnel, with recruitment taking place to hire an additional 120 staff, taking the team up to 250, with room to expand further.
The At Your Service Centre manages telephone bookings and customer service through traditional and digital channels for Addison Lee’s premium global car service, which has over 80% of the FTSE100 as customers.
Nick said: “This is a very exciting time for Addison Lee having just opened the £2 million At Your Service Centre in Peterborough to support its broadening market position in Europe and across the world.
“We are building an exceptional team in Peterborough and I have been impressed with the calibre of the new team and the enthusiasm and aptitude shown in their new roles. They will play an integral part of Addison Lee’s customer service delivery, helping to establish the company as a global leader in business ground transport.
“Prior to Addison Lee I worked for Booking.com, so I am very familiar with a technology-driven travel business and how customer experience can make a real difference in this environment.”
Nick, born down the road from Peterborough in Huntingdon, has lived and worked in in continents around the world, having set up contact centres in Cape Town, Mumbai, Dubai and Melbourne. Most recently he led Booking.com’s Cambridge contact centre working closely with their directors across the world.
