Is your organisation looking to become greener and improve its environmental credentials? Would you like to learn best practice from other companies that are already making sustainability a priority?
The region’s businesses are being invited to attend the iiE Awards 2019, to join in a celebration of environmental achievements. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday 30th April, from 4.30pm, at Allia Future Business Centre in Peterborough (PE2 8AN).
The event brings together existing members and non-members of the iiE green accreditation scheme to celebrate the environmental achievements of the region’s businesses and the latest eco initiatives.
Attendees will hear from keynote speaker Anne Miller, one of the world’s most successful inventors, leader on organizational change, and founder of The Creativity Partnership.
Anne mentors organisations on issues relating to innovation, strategy, and change management. She has given numerous talks on sustainability, including through the prestigious TED talks. Before launching The Creativity Partnership, Anne was a non-executive board member for The Climate Coalition and British Antarctic Survey.
After the keynote speech, iiE member businesses will be awarded their Bronze, Silver or Green accreditation, plus at the Awards it will be announced which organisations have won further accolades.
“We can’t wait for this year’s Awards,” explains iiE’s April Sotomayor. “There have been so many interesting innovations and achievements amongst our membership over the last year and we are excited for the region’s business community to share in this and get inspired.”
The iiE Awards 2019 is sponsored by Haven Power, one of the UK’s largest business electricity suppliers. Powering businesses towards a brighter, more sustainable future, the supplier works in partnership with Green Energy Switch, the profit-for-purpose energy management solution, to save you time, money and effort.
