Accountancy firm, Moore Thompson, has had a chance to meet up with some of Peterborough United’s players who thanked the firm for their sponsorship during their latest season.
The firm, which recently opened a new office in Peterborough, has a long-established presence in the region thanks to its other offices in Market Deeping, Wisbech and Spalding, which make it one of the leading firms in the region.
As keen sponsors of ‘The Posh’ many of the staff members at Moore Thompson were delighted when midfielders, Callum Cooke and Louis Reed, stopped by for a quick kick about and a chance to tour their offices located in Forder Way, Cygnet Park.
As well as showing the players some of their keen football skills, the team at Moore Thompson also explained the work that they do and talked about their role supporting local businesses.
In particular, the firm talked to players about its role in #TransformingPeterborough – its new campaign to revolutionise accountancy and business services in the town through the delivery of innovative services and support.
Speaking about the team’s recent visit Mark East, Moore Thompson’s Partner in Peterborough, said: “It was fantastic to meet Callum and Louis at our offices and have a quick game of keepie-uppie. I think I can safely say that none of us has a future career at the club, but our accountancy skills are certainly worthy of winning the cup.
“Our recent move to the town has already made an impression, but we hope that over the next couple of years we can truly transform not only the provision of business, tax and accounting services but lend our expertise and support to the community in Peterborough as well.”
