Cross Keys Homes takes handover of new affordable homes in Peterborough

Cross Keys Homes (CKH) are delighted to have completed a new housing development in Hempstead, Peterborough.

Working in partnership with Burmor Construction, the housing association has developed these much-needed affordable homes in this desirable area of the city.

Each of the 33 one and two bedroom apartments have been developed to a high specification available for affordable rent.

CKH Chief Executive, Claire Higgins, said: “This has been a fantastic development to work on with Burmor Construction, working together to provide high quality affordable homes to a high specification.

“The area of Hempstead is in high demand, with a thriving community, great amenities and easy access to green space. We are delighted that we are able to make this area of the city even more accessible to people through more homes for affordable rent.”

Scott Broadbent, Quantity Surveyor for Burmor Construction said: “We are pleased to have worked together with returning client, Cross Keys Homes, to deliver this scheme of 33 affordable rent flats, providing much needed housing to families in the Peterborough area. Comprising of both one and two bedroom units across three floors, over two blocks, this project has taken over two years to complete, so we are thrilled to finally be able to see residents moving into a new, high-quality home and to share our valuable contribution to help plug the housing shortages within the city.”
