TECHNOLOGY may have made bosses more self-sufficient but demand for Personal Assistants who can do everything from coordinating international travel and prioritising emails to managing diaries is still high enough to have sparked a recruitment drive by a Peterborough agency.

With a number of clients seeking Personal Assistants to work for individual managers and directors as well as small management teams, Anne Corder Recruitment is on the hunt for the right candidates.

The agency has organised an Open Day on Thursday, September 13th between 9am and 5pm, at its Park Road office, specifically aimed at those with secretarial and PA backgrounds.

“There is an assumption among many people that emails, mobiles and online diaries have meant a decline in the need for Personal Assistants,” said ACR recruitment partner Nel Woolcott. “But we are seeing a definite demand for those with the right skills to provide support and help to allow managers and directors to concentrate on their specialist workloads.”
