Peterborough’s largest landlord Cross Keys Homes is looking to create up to 50 new jobs over the coming months with the launch of its own newly registered care service.
Called Cross Keys Care the service will initially provide help in the home for its own older tenants before rolling out the service to anyone in the area who may have a need of support.
The closure of adult social care homes locally and the continued growth of the city’s older population means demand for personal care services is set to grow and grow, according to Cross Keys Homes.
Director of Operations, Claire Higgins said: “As the population of the city grows older its vital that quality and reliable care services are available for people that want to stay in their own home. Cross Keys Care can offer that extra support to help older people retain their independence with a tailored care package that is personalised to them.”
But before Cross Keys Homes can set the wheels in motion for this new service, it needs to recruit the right people.
“We are looking to employ a significant number of people to deliver this service over the coming months so we want to hear from people who have a real commitment to helping others and genuinely do want to make a difference to the lives of some of the areas older and more vulnerable people. In return we offer excellent benefits plus training,” added Claire
Cross Keys Care is holding two recruitment days this month for anyone interested to come and meet the care team and find out more:
