The East of England Arena and Events Centre has just announced a partnership with Event Express to provide discounted accommodation for visitors to the venue. Event Express will provide the Arena with a complete accommodation solution, negotiating block discounts with hotels and accommodation providers in the regions and managing the reservations, cancellations and amendments through its own customer service centre.

Dean Rees, East of England Arena’s business development manager, commented on the agreement saying, “Event Express is a well-known and trusted provider of accommodation booking services within the events industry. This new partnership will allow organisers, visitors and exhibitors coming to the venue to take advantage of more competitive booking rates which Event Express has already negotiated, along with its superb reservations services. It makes our venue an even stronger proposition for multi-day events and conferences in particular, but all our visitors will be able to benefit.”

Jon Cortinas, Event Express’ sales director, was enthusiastic about the new partnership saying, “We’ll provide discounted hotel accommodation for visitors to the Arena by negotiating block bookings at lower rates, and we offer flexible cancellation policies, allowing visitors to make amendments and cancellations. The service is completely free to use, with no hidden charges and no booking or transaction fees.”
