Greenwoods invites you to its latest Employment Law Now update. With the pandemic seemingly behind us, Greenwoods' team will be hosting in person events in both Peterborough and Cambridge this year.

Employment Law Now will bring you expert guidance on the latest hot topics in employment law.   The firm favourite case law quiz will be making a come back and Greenwoods' specialists will also update you about key topics to be aware of for the year ahead. Some of those topics will be:

• The latest on the Harpur Trust v Brazel holiday pay case
• Recent updates on settlement agreements including the effect on termination of employment and settlement of unknown future claims
• The use of an individual’s chosen pronouns
• The latest on the Tesco fire and re-hire case
• Updates about new types of family related law including neonatal leave and protection from redundancy during pregnancy
• The latest on industrial action, strikes and the use of agency workers

As you will know if you’ve joined Greenwoods' Employment Law Now event before, this update session will be insightful, practical and enjoyable. You will leave with a list of things to check or review to ensure your policies and procedures are ready for new or expected developments.

Greenwoods' experts will also be allocating some time this year, at the end of the session, for an “open forum” to answer any Employment Law questions or HR related issues you have.  Please include any questions in your RSVP and we will answer as many as we can, choosing those that we feel would be most helpful for the group as a whole.
