This event is organised by The Smart Manufacturing Alliance which is run by Opportunity Peterborough. Attendance is free of charge.

Did you know Industry 4.0 technologies can help manufacturers:

  • overcome labour shortages and reduce labour costs by 50%
  • reduce defects and errors by 45%
  • reduce material costs by 45%
  • increase outputs by 30%
  • improve delivery and service performance by 30%

Join us on 3 February to meet the minds behind cutting-edge technologies helping food manufacturers reduce their costs, increase outputs, and improve performance.

Find out what grant funding and practical support SME manufacturers can take advantage of to adopt new technologies; whether they're investigating which tech to use, are concerned about integration, need to upskill their workforce, or want to optimise the tech they've got - and maybe adopt more!

We'll be at the National Centre for Food Manufacturing (NCFM) in Holbeach, run by the University of Lincoln where ground-breaking research and development is taking place with food manufacturers to improve quality, and get full value from technologies like robotics and automation. The NCFM team will share the outcomes of successful projects that get maximum value from new technologies.

We will also have live demonstrations and a showcase some of the latest robotics and automation tech which are digitising industry and helping food manufacturers overcome labour shortages and reduce labour costs, while improving accuracy and quality.

Delegates will also hear about the ACMI4.0 programme - a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) programme which provides;

  • grant funding towards purchasing Industry 4.0 equipment
  • business support to upskill the workforce
  • workshops to help businesses identify which technologies will have the biggest impact on operations and integrate the new technologies effectively so they reap maximum value

We hope you can join us for an inspiring showcase and networking with food manufacturing peers.

Can't make it in person? We're live streaming - select the live stream tickets on checkout.
