Tackling Worklessness in Peterborough – a consortium of local organisations aiming at reducing unemployment in the city – are launching a brand new evening jobs fair for Peterborough employers this March.
The Recruit Job Show will be held on Tuesday 10 March between 5pm and 8pm at City College Peterborough on Brook Street in the city centre.
Previous TWIP job fairs held during the day have attracted over 600 keen job seekers, from school leavers to those looking to change career direction, and from trainees and apprentices through to those with a wealth of experience and skills. Attendees are briefed to come equipped with their CVs and ready for interviews on the day.
The event is the perfect place to speak to a large number of job seekers, the majority of whom are ready for an immediate start.
The event is run by Tackling Worklessness in Peterborough (TWIP), and use the combined skills of the very best recruitment, training and support organisations from across Peterborough. TWIP is led by Cross Keys Homes, and takes action to get the right workforce for local companies and the right jobs for local people.
Shaun Sadler, Districts Operations Leader at Peterborough Jobcentreplus said: “TWIP has a long track record of running recruitment events that really work for employers and job seekers alike. We are really excited about this new evening event, as we will be able to attract more people who are currently in work but looking for a change, plus employers will benefit from meeting job seekers with a wealth of experience and skills. By attending the event you really will be getting your company in front of people who are looking for work right now.”
The Recruit Job Show is FREE for exhibitors and visitors. All TWIP events are supported by a comprehensive marketing campaign to ensure high levels of attendance and maximum exposure for your brand.
