Lawyers blaze The Trail

Leading food lawyers Roythornes has launched a helpline for hundreds of food businesses across the UK as part of a continued development of their work in the food sector.

The helpline has been set up for the Artisan Food Trail – a network of food producers across the UK who produce and sell high quality food.  The Trail has won many awards for its innovative use of the internet and has been named as one of the top 250 ‘Social Brands’ in the world.

Speaking about the move, Mark Dodds, Marketing Manager with Peterborough based Roythornes said:

“We do a great deal of work for the food sector with both large and small producers.  The Artisan Food Trail membership is made up of mainly smaller businesses and we’re very happy to be able to provide them with the helpline facility.”

Graham Childs of the Artisan Food Trail said:

“We’re delighted to be able to offer a free legal helpline to our members, as many of them will not have the time or the resources to make sure they are 100% up to date with the latest regulations.  Others will be developing their business and will need contract advice or help with setting up distribution agreements, so the number of ways the service can help is as diverse as the variety of foods they produce.”

Roythornes run a number of legal helplines for both professionals and individuals, including high street financial institutions and trade bodies.

Mark concluded

“We are growing our food sector business and the launch of the helpline will raise our profile further in a very competitive market.  We are looking forward to helping Artisan Food Trail members with their business issues.”
