Housebuilder Larkfleet Homes (www.larkfleethomes.co.uk) is celebrating summertime with a very English afternoon of tea and cakes on Sunday 18 August at The Croft (www.thecroftbourne.co.uk), a lifestyle living development for the over 55s in Bourne, Lincolnshire.

As part of The Croft development, a historic manor house has been restored to its former glory and stylishly refurbished to form a communal ‘hub’ for residents.

All visitors to The Croft between 12:00 and 16:00 on Sunday 18 August will be able to enjoy a complimentary cup of tea or coffee and a choice of delicious cakes in the restored manor house. The lounge and patio areas will provide the ideal location for residents and visitors to enjoy the refreshments.

Although plenty of cakes will be provided by Larkfleet, visitors and residents of The Croft are encouraged to bring along their own homemade efforts as well for others to share and eat. Larkfleet will award small prizes to the best cake bakers.

The manor house has already hosted a variety of activities for residents and local people in its stylish communal facilities. There is a full schedule of community events planned throughout 2013 and homeowners at The Croft are already organising their own community groups and clubs.
