YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough is looking for thrill seekers to take on the ultimate adrenaline event to help raise vital funds to support young people across the county by taking part in a charity skydive.
Have you ever imagined standing at the edge of a doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet, with the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears, with only the outline of distant fields below? If so, the YMCA is offering you the opportunity of a lifetime!
YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough has joined forces with Skyline events to provide this fantastic opportunity for the local community to raise funds for its services. There are 20 places available for the skydiving charity event which will take place on Saturday 18th March 2017 at Sibson Airfield in Cambridgeshire.
The charity provides a variety of projects throughout the county to ensure that young people have the opportunity to thrive and contribute positively to their communities, including housing, counselling, youth clubs and the resettlement of young offenders.
Ian Knibbs, Fundraising and Marketing Manager, YMCA Cambridgeshire & Peterborough said: “We are excited to offer this fantastic fundraising opportunity for people in the local community. We hope you ‘Freefall in love’ with the YMCA to help us raise vital funds to support the young people in our local community.”
